When I used the 7.1 headset that I was playing at home today, I heard the sounds that were weak or not heard on the speaker in detail, and there is a way to make it come out on the speaker.
You can change the sound setting to Prologic in the game. This is a virtual 5.1 channel function, but the sound of monsters dying and other environmental sounds that you don't usually hear comes out in detail. I think there were quite a lot of sounds that DIA4 didn't come out as a regular or stereo. I'm sure that you can feel it, too!
