Diablo4 - [Understands the defense] Let's set it up

 




Hello.

Today, I'm going to write a tip to completely dissect everything about defense and understand it.


There is an excel sheet for calculating the final defense from abroad, but rather than just typing in numbers and looking at the results

Let's take some time to understand how each element in practice is computed and produced as a result.


First of all, the purpose of writing this article is,

At the time when the defense figure is released, 85% of the skin is obtained according to the monster level (the maximum defense figure can be obtained

When setting the appropriate defense using <Phase of Objection> 

This is because the final defense value does not come out with this formula (the increase rate of defense in the current profile and the status defense of X disobedience).

This calculation results in a higher degree of defense than the actual degree of defense, which causes the degree of defense to collapse.


ex. The defense diagram that can obtain 85% efficiency based on mob level 100 is 9170

To meet the minimum required defense level without consumer goods based on wearing 50% of the objection

9170 ÷ 1.5 = 6113 profile defences? Wrong. You have to hit it higher. 

(Not because of the lack of a random stack, but because the calculation itself is wrong)


The first thing you need to know is the components of the final defense.


Let's introduce the basic formula and then use the calculations to learn about the actual final defense.


Final Definition = Base Definition X {100 (%) + Definition Growth (%)}


The final defense plot is calculated using the above formula, and the base defense plot and defense growth rate used for this calculation is

The information you can see in the tooltip image shown in the example below is,

6891 = Current Final Defensive Diagram


4009 = Add up the self-defense for each armor area (items included in the base defense plot)


318 = Strength-Stat Defensive Diagram (items included in Base Defensive Diagram)


2564 (?) = Accessory Skull 750 (not told by the steeper) + Conqueror Node 200 (not told by the steeper) + 1614 (?)

This 1614 is what (this figure is more meaningful), the base defense or X defense growth rate (%) result.

(This 2564 figure is the result of a lame operation that really has no place to use.)



The actual base defense of this GIF is 5277. The way to get it is

Accurate formula = Item self-defense totals 4009 + Strengthstet 318 + Accessory Skull 750 + Conqueror 200 + Consumer Goods 0 = 5277,  

Reverse inference method = final defense diagram 6891 ÷ {100% + defense growth rate combined 30.6% } ≒ 5277.

Likewise, my defense is actually increased by the growth rate option, so to save 1614

As you can see above, the increased defences by the jewelry skeleton and conqueror board and consumer goods

The base defense diagram is unknown because it is not indicated by a numerical value in the detailed information window.

This makes it difficult to predict the final degree of defense after the increase in the degree of defense by the status of objection.

Therefore, it is recommended that each player knows the base defense figure through their own calculations.

I will explain in detail how each of the items below is organized.

1. Base Defense Diagram

Base Defense Plot = Total Self Defense for each armor area + Strength Stet Defense Plot

 + Add up the skeletal defense of jewelry + the defense of the conqueror's board + the defense of consumer goods


It is very important to be aware of your base defense level accurately when setting defense charts.

This base defense is not exactly visible in the detailed numerical window tooltips, and the player must calculate it himself.



1-1. Add up self-defense by armor area (can be found in the detailed tooltip window)

The degree of defense of each armor area is determined by the "item power" criterion. 


Defense by armor part = "Item Power" X "Component by part"


In order of armor with the highest "part-by-part coefficient",

Armor: Power X 1.75

Pitching: Power x 1.25

Pants: Power x 1.0

Gloves: Power X 0.5

Shoes: Power X 0.5


ex. Item force 800 armor has 1400 self-defense, and 800 shoe has 400 self-defense.


1-2. Strength stat defense diagram (can be found in the detailed tooltip window)

The defense per force set is also increased by 1.


1-3. Accessory Skull Defense Diagram (not available on Tooltip)

It has a 250 degree of defense based on royal-grade skeletons,

Usually, it is standard to wear it on all three parts of jewelry to get 750 degrees of defense.


1-4. Conqueror Board Defense Diagram (not available on Tooltip)

This is where the Defensive Diagram option is taken from the Conqueror Board.


1-5. Consumer Protection Diagram (not available on tooltip)

This is the defense map obtained by leaps and scents.

Among the leaps are "ironclad skin leaps (900 degrees of defense)" and "steel thorn leaps (500 degrees of defense)."

Among the incense is "Song of the Mountain (200 degrees of defense)."

Together, you can get an additional base defense of up to 1100.


2. Defensive growth rate

Defense increase rate (%) = Total defense increase rate by item part (%) + phase defense increase rate of dissatisfaction (%)


As you can see from this formula, <Phase of Objection> is not a single product,

The defense for each item part is also combined with the growth rate, and the character's overall defense is also multiplied by the base defense

It becomes the final defense.



2-1. Combining the increase rate of defense by item

There are a total of four items (pitching, armor, pants, and necklace) that can increase defense. 

The defense obtained here adds up all the growth rates.

(Adding to the increase in Drewid's animal form defense by %)


ex. helmet 10.6% + armor 10.6% + pants 10.6% + necklace 10.6% = 43.6%


2-2. The rate of increase in phase defense of disapproval

The phase of disobedience is a phase that increases the degree of defense by accumulating a total of 100 stacks, one stack for each damage to the enemy.

It adds up to 50% defense growth per stack, 0.5% per stack, and 0.75 per stack for necklaces, up to 75% defense growth.

Now that you understand how each item is organized, 

In the example below, let's look at how to do the calculations that you need to set up a specific nightmare singular defense


I'd like to have a setting where I get 85% of the skin at 100 level (mob level 154).

First, we check how many options can be taken from the defense growth rate, which is a magnification item.

Item options total 43.6% = 10.9% pitch + 10.9% armor + 10.9% pants + 10.9% necklace

In the case of Druids, it is possible to be higher due to increased slow defense

Up to 50% by engraving <Objection> on other parts other than the necklace

Maximum defense gain total = 43.6% + 50% = 93.6%



So what's the minimum base defense I need to match?

Minimum required base defense = 12909 ÷ { 100% + 93.6% } = 6668 (from decimal point)


In the five categories within this base defense plot,

6668 - 750 = 5918 except for the jewelry skull defense (750) that I can definitely get

You can match 5918 defense by item part + strength set + conqueror board + consumer goods.


If the power of all parts is 800, the total defense for each item is 4000,

Must cover more than 1918 in Himstets, Conquerors, and Consumer Goods

If the power of all parts is 825, the total defense for each item is 4125, 

More than 1793 must be covered in Himstets, Conquerors, and consumer goods

If the power of all parts is 845, the total defense by item is 4225,

More than 1693 must be covered in Himstets, Conquerors and consumer goods


If you engrave your disapproval on the necklace,

The above base defense can also get 85% skin texture with only 67 stacks at 6668.

(It's hard for elementary technicians to increase their base defense, so if you take it up to 5900 and mark your objection to the necklace

85 percent of the skin can be taken from 100 stacks.)


The above defense is also set up by setting the defense, which obtains 85% of the skin from 70 or 80 layers,

When you want to take out a few leaps or defense growth options

You can estimate the minimum required defense possible from your build settings through calculations.
